If you dont do this you will get tremendous lag and your game will be so slow it will be next to unplayable.
Ok you should now have the little FlyFF box updating blahblahblah BEFORE YOU PRESS START go to option and turn everything to low as they go like a limbo LOL. When Installing DirectX 9 if you get an error thats also because of the lack of SP2 because DirectX will not run without SP2 It could also be the fact you haven't you installed DirectX 9.

This is were on my first attempt problems occured if when you click on the FlyFF icon you get an error complaining about d3d.ll9 or something along those lines that means theres a problem or lack of DirectX 9 if you didnt heed my warning and get Microsoft Windows Pro SP2 then theres your problem. Once FlyFF is completley downloaded and you have the little icon on your virtual machine desktop.your ALMOST golden.

Once your XP install has completed it should basically show Microsoft Windows in a window on your mac desktop which means its time to download Fly (DirectX 9 should come with your XP copy if not just download it from a torrent) I usually download fly from but I dont think it REALLY matters. NOTE: Your Windows XP must absolutley positivley be SP2 if you want this to work! SP2 means Service Pack 2 which is esentiall for DirectX 9 to install on your virtual machine (the install will not complete if you dont have SP2 but DirectX gives you a very vauge error message THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH SP2 At this point there might be a few more things to click but after that Windows should start installing itself onto the Parallels.
Choose the top one this way it will do almost all the work for you. The program (the end of the installation proccess) should immeadeatly recognize the disk and ask your plan of action. The way I did it was by downloading a pirated version of Microsoft Windows Xp Pro SP2 onto a disc and popped it into my mac. Now that you have Parallels downloaded you now need to create or configure a virtual machine onto the program for it to work (this is easier than it sounds). Once the new window is open click the icon that says install Parallels desktop the instal is the same as any others and you agree to all the legal crap when you reach the end it is ready to install the virtual machine.
Simply double click your Parallels desktop icon for it to open a window, this may be found on your desktop or under applications through the finder depending on what you did during the download. The final part of this step is to go through the download process (very straight forward).

Anyways to obtain a Parallels download go to and sign-up to either buy or have a free 15 day trial (I'm interested to know if anyone has a cracked version).
The only problem is it slows things down becuase having to OS' running at the same time takes alot for your computer nevermind Fly. One thing thats great about it is how seamlessly you can go from your virtual machine (Windows OS) to your normal OS. It simply runs windows.in a window which has its pros and cons. Parallels is a program which allows you to run Windows (Xp or Vista but I recommend Xp) without having to reboot your system. Ok I would say the easist place to start would be with a parallels download which is what I used. Microsoft Windows Xp Pro SP2 (Must be SP2 to work unless you bought your copy of Xp) I have found a way to play FlyFF Version 9 on my mac and have decided to share my secret (or maybe not.) with you all.
